My roots and professional career in biology and sales
Born and raised in Hohenlohe in the northeast of Baden-Wuerttemberg, a region with an agricultural character and a strong variety of small and mid-sized companies up to world market leaders, my deep interest in biology led me to study in Heidelberg. After completing my studies, I did my doctorate at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and did research as a postdoc at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL).
I then pursued a career in biomedical sales. Since 2007 I have worked as a sales manager with team and country responsibility (most recently Central Europe). I worked in an international environment for medium-sized companies such as Randox Laboratories in Belfast (Northern Ireland) and Hain Lifescience GmbH in Nehren near Tübingen as well as at the listed companies Bruker Corporation and Sartorius.
The path to sustainability consulting
My years of dealing with sustainability topics in various professional roles and the numerous parallels to my biological background led to the idea of supporting organizations with my expertise in the area of sustainability.
Sustainability on our own behalf
Every day we think about how we can work and live more sustainably. Working in a paper-less office is now a given for us. Our office is heated by a modern heat pump that is powered by green electricity since many years. Our business account is with GLS Bank, the first social-ecological bank in Germany that focuses entirely on sustainability. We chose the .eco domain for our website, one of the few climate-neutral operators that is committed to the global climate movement.
