Implementing EUDR — Compliance, Reporting and Supply Chain Transformation

The EU Deforestation-Free Supply Chain Regulation (EUDR) requires companies to verifiably source affected raw materials in a deforestation-free and legal manner and to conduct due diligence. Comprehensive compliance requirements for EU-based companies will come into force on December 30, 2025. Small and micro-enterprises will receive an extension until June 30, 2026. The regulation replaces the previously applicable EU Timber Regulation (EUTR) and extends the due diligence obligation to additional raw materials.

Which Products Are Covered by the Regulation?

The EUDR governs the import, trade, and export of products linked to deforestation and forest degradation. These include:

products covered by EUDR

Products made from these raw materials, such as paper, printed materials, or specific wood products, may also be covered by the regulation.
